Mental Health First Aid Training

Mental health-related issues are contributing factors to an increasing number of incidents of Employee absenteeism, lost productivity and low morale.  Both personal and work-related mental health challenges can significantly impact an organization.

Part of an effective Health and Safety program includes providing support resources and trained personnel who have the knowledge and skills to provide assistance during a mental health crisis.  This includes having the ability to identify, understand and respond to the early signs and symptoms of addiction and/or issues involving mental health.

Early intervention and ongoing peer support are key factors in providing a proactive and effective mental wellness program and, ultimately, creating a safe, happy and healthy workplace.
