C.R.I.S.I.S. and De-escalation Training

Critical Response Intervention Strategies and Incident Safety

Would Your Employees Know What To Do?

When Employees go to work they don’t expect to witness a violent incident.  Their place of employment should be one of safety and comfort. A tragic incident can not only cause physical harm, but it can have a devastating mental and emotional impact on Employees, their families and, ultimately, the business itself.

Under the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), Employers have a legal obligation to provide all Employees with a Workplace Violence Policy and training. This includes an effective Emergency Response Plan (ERP) that ensures Employees act quickly and confidently to any potential threat.

Supervisors and Employees need to be able to recognize the warning signs and be given the skills to respond to any emergency.  Getting Employees actively involved in the development of an ERP training program, not only promotes a healthy and safe work environment, but equally important, it fosters a productive one.
