Leadership Education and Development (LEAD)

As part of our innovative Leadership Program, this 3-day BASIC SUPERVISOR's couse is designed to meet both the operational and budgetary needs of Employers.  Allowing Supervisors and Managers the ability to attend training on an ongoing basis without negatively impacting day-to-day company operations.  Through a combination of in-class education and on-the-job practical training, emphasis is placed on effective decision-making, problem-solving and operational management.

There are 8 Modules in the Basic Supervisor's course with courses run once every quarter of the year for all Sectors.  Courses consist of 1 day each month for three months and includes both classroom instruction and scenario-based training.  Participants must successfully complete all three days of training, as well as a written Theory and Practical in-class exercises.  The program includes:

8. Human Factors and Performance

Students are required to purchase a Supervisor Training Log.  Information will be provided in the Course Confirmation and Orientation package.  Included in the course are all student workbooks and hand-outs, training equipment, as well as full academic tracking for participants.  Upon successful completion, students will receive both a wall certificate and wallet card.
